Did you know that Mount Rundle’s name in Cree Nation is Waskahigan Watchi which roughly translated means House Mountain? I like their name better – feels friendly 💚

Found this while researching things for my story. Before you know it, someone could be making this trip for real😯

Found this double-decker merry-go-round in Cardiff, Wales (2018). I discovered Britain’s and Europe’s carousels go the opposite direction to North America – clockwise vs counter-clockwise. I didn’t have time for a ride, but a few years later, my great-niece did ❣️

Here’s a tasty, thirst-quenching beverage that I invented:
1.5 oz of 100% berry juice (no sugar added) over ice
5 to 6 oz of refrigerated herbal tea (I like apple cinnamon or blueberry ginseng)
2 oz of club soda to top it, then stir.
Bon appetit

The epitome of domestic comfy cat – she’s using her toy bunny for a pillow 😊Midnight turns 20 this year!

Cat and mouse game – not sure how they’re managing the pool cues??🙀

Feeling fortunate to live so close to this massive urban green space – Fish Creek Park. At 1348 hectares, it’s the fifth largest across Canada. The feeling of being in the country while in the middle of a thriving city, Calgary, makes me giddy 🤠

Plentiful Purple Petals! Our clematis vine is very happy ever since I built a small cedar border around its roots. I read that the vine does best when its roots are shaded, and it worked 👍

Guess where I was this past weekend! Attending the Calgary writers’ conference (When Words Collide) which is always full of seminars with writing and publishing tips, networking, and of course the Merchant’s Corner brimming with books for sale 😊

Lovely day to get out of the city and visit nature in the foothills just west of Calgary 🍁
