Norwegian Ancestry

Norwegian Ancestry: looking through travel photos and found these. The bottom right is Oslo, Norway’s Royal Palace. But long before it was built, nothing was brick and mortar: even art was rough hewn wood. I also noticed the windows in the museum’s old structures were at a handy level for possible crossbows to be used. @nelming

Diction & Spelling

Diction and Spelling: Frequently, poor diction/enunciation can lead to misunderstanding and poor grammar as a result. A good example is the word ‘seen’ which requires a participle like ‘have or had’. However, the diction of the contraction “I’ve” is often slurred in speech so that people don’t hear “ve” and assume they’ve heard “I seen”. Only ‘saw’ can be used without a participle. 😏Are we confused yet? @nelming

Search Engine Surprise

Search Engine Surprise: Just read a BookBub blog about how things are changing for authors and their book marketing. So, I typed “what is the book ‘Noetic Marj Odyssey’ about”. Amazingly, google AI knows more about my book than any retailer, including Amazon! Who knew?!
